The Cetaphil Sun SPF 50+ Light Gel Sunscreen is a lightweight daily sunscreen made for sensitive, oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. It uses a combination of modern UV filters to provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection while aiming to feel lighter and less greasy than traditional heavy sunscreens. The formula is designed for both face and body use.

Main ingredients

  • Tinosorb S (Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine) — Advanced photostable UVA/UVB filter
  • Uvinul A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) — Strong UVA protection
  • Uvinul T 150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone) — High-efficiency UVB filter
  • Tinosorb M (Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol) — Hybrid UV filter for broad-spectrum protection
  • Octinoxate (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate) — UVB protection
  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol) — Antioxidant support
  • Panthenol & Aloe Vera — Help soothe and hydrate skin

How to use

Apply generously to the face and exposed skin about 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after sweating, swimming, or towel drying. Because it is water-resistant, a gentle cleansing oil or double cleanse may help remove it completely at night.
